Beyond generating documents, the Chathive Code interpreter is an incredibly powerful tool for analyzing your own data. You can upload files—such as financial statements, Excel sheets, or reports and ask the assistant to perform deep dives, create visualizations, and prepare you for client meetings.

How to analyze a document
To start an analysis, simply upload a file from your system into the chat and provide a specific instruction.
-
Example prompt: "Based on this profit and loss account, analyze the figures. Create a pie chart showing the breakdown of costs, a line graph for revenue evolution, and provide some useful tables and strategic insights."
What happens behind the scenes?
-
Reading the data: The assistant will first read your file (sometimes multiple times) to ensure it has captured all the necessary information.
-
Writing code: It writes a custom analysis script to process the data according to your request.
-
Generating results: The assistant executes the code to produce:
-
Visualizations: Professional charts and graphs (e.g., cost breakdowns or revenue trends).
-
Data tables: Organized summaries of key figures.
-
Strategic insights: A breakdown of positive and negative trends, as well as specific points of attention for your client.
-
Tips for the best results
-
Be specific: While you can ask for "some nice graphs," you will get much better results if you specify exactly what you need (e.g., "include labels in the pie chart" or "compare this year to last year").
-
Iterate and refine: If a graph isn't exactly what you wanted or is missing labels, just ask! You can keep chatting to adjust the colors, labels, or the type of analysis.
-
Client preparation: Use this feature to save time on manual calculations. The assistant can quickly identify trends and "attention points" that help you provide better advice to your clients.
Support and feedback
As this feature uses artificial intelligence to interpret data, we recommend always verifying the final figures against your original file. If you encounter any issues or the analysis isn't working as expected, please reach out.
